Apple has undertaken the removal process of brands like Sonos, Bose, and Logitech, which have all been stocked by Apple for quite some time, from their retail locations.
The exact reason for removing its competing audio brands from the stores, as well as from the online platform, remains without Apple’s official statement, but many speculate a launch of its own audio hardware is underway, which could take place on Apple’s upcoming “Hi, Speed” event on October 13. The only third-party audio devices offered at Apple currently are the Philips conference room speaker and an Apple subsidiary, Beats Electronics.
